Dear Parents and Carers

We held a beautiful prayer service yesterday morning honouring the life of Ethan Metz. Our Year 10 students along with Keating 5 students were in attendance as well as some of our parents.

Thank you to Mr Colin Groves for preparing the prayer service with such thoughtfulness and consideration for our young people. Thank you to Fr Joe for leading us in prayer; his presence was so appreciated. It helped all of us.

Please keep talking with your young people being mindful of their sadness, anger and/or frustration. One of the most important things you can do for a grieving person is just to be there.

It is your support and caring presence that will help them cope with the pain and sadness they feel. Listen carefully to what they say without judgement and with compassion.

We are people of faith, people of prayer and people of hope.
