Students will wear casual clothes on Monday (gold coin donation collected in homeroom), can buy a pizza lunch at the Canteen ($2 per slice) and can attend a movie afternoon ($4 buy in, includes popcorn, Lunch and Period 5). Places are limited for the movie afternoon. Tickets will be sold Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Recess outside the Canteen. Thank you for your support, Trinity!

On Thursday 27 February 2020, 6 Trinity Rugby 7s attended the Goulburn High School’s Rugby 7s competition. The teams fought hard against some tough teams.
The Senior Boys team won all of the matches and played with the upmost respect and dignity displaying great school spirit. The Senior Girls played exceptionally well, winning all their games but came in 2nd place due to points.
The Intermediate Boys had a cracking day and the Intermediate Girls remained undefeated all day. Both teams will progress to the finals.
The Junior Boys just missed out on progressing, losing the finals and the Junior Girls unfortunately had no rivals, which has progressed them straight to the finals.
The teams progressing into the finals are: Senior Boys, Intermediate Boys, Intermediate Girls and Junior Girls.
A massive thank you to all of the parents who were involved in the day, either through coaching or support. A big congratulations to all the students involved in the day who played valiantly against many rival schools. Thank you to supervising staff on the excursion: Mrs Jessica Antony, Mr Chris Arnold, Mr Evan Rees and Miss Julia Byrnes.

School TV: Happiness & Gratitude
Happiness is a term that captures a huge variety of positive emotions such as humour, serenity, optimism, joy, pride, inspiration, love and hope. Happiness means different things, to different people and is essential to your understanding of emotional literacy. Throughout history, philosophers, religious writers and poets have pondered on the meaning of happiness and how it might be achieved. In the last few decades, scientists and psychologists have researched this further by studying a field of science called positive psychology.
The result of this research suggests there is a strong correlation between gratitude and greater happiness. Practising gratitude helps you shift your focus to positive memories or experiences, noticing the good in your life. Over time, this will re-wire your brain to create new neural pathways, increasing your state of happiness and overall wellbeing.
In this edition of SchoolTV, parents and care-givers will learn how to achieve happiness and the benefits of practising gratitude. We hope you take time to reflect on the information offered in this month’s edition, and we always welcome your feedback.
If you do have any concerns about the wellbeing of your child, please contact the school for further information or seek medical or professional help.
