Dear Parents and Carers
This will be our last Trinity Talk for Term 1. It has been a time of great change and uncertainty due to COVID-19. As a school community, students, teachers and parents have had to rapidly change and adjust their everyday practices and routines. Thank you again for your patience, understanding and support. Your phone messages and emails have been positively uplifting and much appreciated. We could not have done it without you! Next term we look forward to remote learning, and functioning as a learning community in a very different way. If further information is provided from the NSW and Australian Governments, and Catholic Education, about how Trinity Catholic College Goulburn will be functioning in Term 2, I will make contact with you via email.

We miss our students and their families. I look forward to when we are together again.
HOLY WEEK
Next week we begin the most important time in the Church’s liturgical calendar. Holy Week starts with Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. It is a celebration but the mood soon changes and by Holy Thursday, the Easter Triduum begins with the memory of the Lord’s Supper, the night before Jesus died. The following Sunday, we will celebrate Jesus’ passage from death to new life. It is a time for each of us to be awakened to the presence of God in our lives and become messengers of hope, peace, kindness and mercy. At this time, let us remember those families across thw world who are struggling with the impact of coronavirus, particularly in Northern Italy and New York. In our prayers, let us remember too those who struggle with the social isolation. Let us keep our families close to us.
Accept the strength that comes from the grace of Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1
We miss our students and their families. I look forward to the day we are together again.
God bless you all, take care and keep safe.
Kind regards
Gaye McManus
