If students are displaying flu-like symptoms at school, parents will be required to collect their child from school and have a COVID test. If students are unwell, they must remain at home. Please continue to inform the school via phone if your child tests positive for COVID.

I’d rather vacuum the house as our vacuum cleaner has a light on it! |

When I finish school, I want to be a nurse or a paramedic. |

I love the community spirit at Trinity. |

I wanted to be able to help out and be a role model for younger years. |

TAKING TIME OUT WITH MISS GILL
As we are farwelling Miss Gill at the end of the term, what better time to feature her as this week's teacher!

To develop socially responsible citizens with understanding of wellbeing.
What is the best part of being a teacher?
No day is the same, always something to learn, get to work with students as they develop into young adults.
Why are you passionate about it?
Education and knowledge can change the the world either at a global level or at an individuals level. Knowledge is power.
Provide an example of how passionate teachers at Trinity go ‘above and beyond’ in educating students in their care:
Provide support through accessibility of resources to enable students to learn eg stationery, food
Why did you become a teacher?
My Nan showed me the value of education and how it can change someones life.

Philosophy I like - you only get this moment once in life - use it to be the best version of you.
What are your interests outside of school life?
Any activity outside! Travel, food, real estate.
MATHS HELP (CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
Maths Help Sessions will run on the following days at the listed times from the Library:
Wednesday Morning 8am-8.55am (for Year 11 and 12 students only)
Wednesday Recess 11.10am - 11.40am
Thursday Recess 11.10am - 11.40am
Friday Morning 8.00am - 8.55am
Students should be wearing their Summer Uniform in Term 1.
The Uniform Shop will be open this afternoon from 3pm until 6pm. There will be signage on the ground outside the Uniform Shop to remind everyone of social distancing procotols.
Uniform items can now be purchased through Qkr! and can be collected from the Front Office the Friday after the purchase.
Qkr is an easy-to-use mobile app for iPhones, Android smartphones and tablets, that makes school payments a breeze. You can now pay for your uniforms, fees and most excursions using the Qkr! App.
The College should be notified of any foreseen student leave. An Application for Exemption Form is available from the College Office and is required to be completed by parents/carers and returned to the College at least 10 school days prior to any leave. Leave or travel over 10 days requires a different form; please contact Reception. If, during the period of leave, your child has assessments due they should also complete the Notification of Planned Absence form which is in the appendix of their student assessment handbook.
When your child needs to leave School early, please make sure they complete the following steps:
1. A written note signed from their parent/carer. This note can be made in the Student diary on the day of the planned absence, or on a separate piece of paper.
2. The student then takes the note to Homeroom and asks their Homeroom teachers to sign it.
3. The note must also be signed by a House Coordinator.
4. The student comes to the front office with their signed note.
5. Front office staff assist student to sign out.
6. Students wait for parent/carer to collect them.
Please note, parent or carer MUST present to the Office to collect student.
