Name (or preferred name): Miss Charlotte Lock
Teaching Area: Music
Teaching Experience, qualifications, professional development achievements: I have been working at Trinity since 2011 after graduating from Bachelor of Contemporary Music and Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education studied at Southern Cross University in Lismore.
What is the best part of being a teacher? The best part of being a teacher is having the opportunity to inspire and shape the next generation of creative young individuals, and teaching them about what I love most!
Why are you passionate about it? Being a teacher allows me to share my enormous love for Music with others, which is something I enjoy and gain much satisfaction from. Observing students' skills and passion for music grow and blossom is very satisfying.
Why did you become a teacher? Becoming a music teacher was an aspiration of mine from Year 7 onwards! I knew it was something that would bring me joy. I was very lucky to have two wonderful music teachers in high school that paved the way for me and made me realise that becoming a music teacher was what I wanted to do!
What are your interests outside of school life? I love trawling op-shops, markets and vintage stores, spending time at the beach, snuggling my dog George, performing and writing music, travelling, reading, scrap-booking/journaling and hanging out at cafes.
