Dear Parents, Students and Teachers,
It is wonderful to be back at Trinity after taking leave. My time away was one of personal and professional renewal but now it is very exciting to be back with my work family. Thank you to Lauren Shinfield for her role as Acting Principal and to Anthony O'Connell and Julia Burnes for acting in their respective roles of Assistant Principal and Director of Mission and Identity. Because these amazing staff willingly stepped up into the various leadership roles, I was able to spend time way from the College and for this I am most grateful.
Staff Matters
Welcome to Zach Holmes who is Acting Science Coordinator for the next 18 months. Mr Holmes will be relieving in Ms Nicola Fife's position whilst she is on leave.
Please note Mrs Beverley McGreevey has resigned from her position as Contact Teacher for Aboriginal Education. Mrs McGreevey will still be seen around the College as she will be working as a casual relief teacher. I would like to extend my personal thanks to Mrs McGreevey for her commitment to Aboriginal Education and Midgee. At the recent Archdiocesan NAIDOC Mass, Mrs McGreevey was recognised for her contributions to the College.

Prayer Reflection
A swamp may look nice on the surface but its depths are full of rotten things. Peace based on injustice is like the swamp. It is a false peace and Jesus came to disrupt it. However, there is a true peace in which all of God's children have their basic rights respected, and can live in freedom and dignity. This is the peace Jesus came to bring. Peace like this doesn't happen; it has to be made. Sometimes the peacemakers are branded troublemakers but Jesus had another name for them; he called them 'children of God'.
May God bless you and keep you safe,
Gaye McManus
Principal
