There have been over 80 Wellbeing Week Shout Outs submitted this week (and the week isn’t over just yet!). The Shout Outs acknowledge the work of students, teachers, support staff, the Front Office and Library staff, particularly during these challenging times of Remote Learning, and there are also many beautiful messages of kindness and gratitude between friends.
Thank you to Mrs Suro for her thoughtfulness and time in making this happen. Mrs Suro has helped fill our buckets this week.
With Father's Day coming up this weekend, in honour all the fathers and father figures, students were asked to bring on the Dad Jokes in the Trinity Wellbeing Google classroom! Mr Arnold, Year 8 Coordinator, encouraged students with this poem.
‘Twas three days before Father’s Day, when all through the school,
The students had decided that Dad jokes were cool.
Solid gold humour, told with great care,
In hopes that their friends’ belly-laughter could bare!
Some people might laugh ‘til they wet their beds,
While others just smirk and face-palm their heads.
Those without humour would rather a nap,
So bring on a Dad Joke, we’ll applause and we’ll clap!
You may have a question from the time you awoke,
But when does a joke become a ‘Dad Joke’?
This is the question I hear you all moan,
The answer is simple, it’s ‘when it’s full groan!’

Some Dad jokes from the Google classroom included:
- What did the green grape say to the purple grape? Breath you idiot!
- Why are piggy banks so smart? Cause they're filled with common cents!
- 'I'm hungry'. 'Hi hungry, I'm Dad'.
- Why couldn’t the bicycle stand up by itself? It was two tired.
- When's a tractor not a tractor? When it turns into a paddock.
Happy Father's Day to all our amazing men. Thank you for all your love and support, and your Dad jokes.

If students are displaying flu-like symptoms at school, parents will be required to collect their child from school and have a COVID test. If students are unwell, they must remain at home. Please continue to inform the school via phone if your child tests positive for COVID.
Just a few little reminders....
- ALL students have moved to remote learning at home and at school. Students who return to the College will be participating in remote learning only.
- Students and staff must wear masks indoors and outdoors except when eating.
- We require three (3) days notice for children of essential workers to attend the College - this will assist us with staffing and supervision planning.
- The Canteen and Uniform Shop are not open during this lockdown.
- Students must bring their own food and drink to school each day.
- Thank you for working with the College at this difficult time!
- Please stay safe, well and at home! :)
